Teaser is right… check out this quick promo trailer video for Lost’s final season. It’s over in a flash and there’s no new footage for the upcoming season, but it’s something, I guess.
No word yet on a premiere date for Lost’s final season – 2010 is all that’s said in the promo, thought there are rumors that it will kick off in January.

Desperate Housewives is going the distance – through 2013, anyway. Variety is reporting that show creator Marc Cherry has signed a deal with ABC Studios, extending Desperate Housewives through to a ninth season.
Marc Cherry will stay on as executive producer through the series’ run, but will the cast, who are only signed through season 7, stay for the duration?

When “Lost” wraps up with the series finale in 2010, Matthew Fox plans to quit the TV business and head to the big screen.
Matthew Fox commented, “I am not going to do television again. That is not because I think film is better than television. Not at all, in some respects some of the best story telling is happening on television. I have done two TV shows — Lost and Party of Five — that have each run for six years. When you add it all up it is in the vicinity of 300 hours of television. I want to find a way to have more control over when I am working and when I’m not. I’m looking for more flexibility.”
Matthew Fox wants to take the time away from TV to spend with his family, saying, “I am (43) and a father of two children, and I don’t want to miss them growing up. I don’t want to find myself 10 years from now feeling like I was an absentee father because I was so focused on my career.”
Fox plans to take six months off when Lost wraps, then plans on doing one or two films a year.

Christian Slater is planning to return to TV in ABC’s “The Forgotten” – he was last seen on the failed “My Own Worst Enemy” on NBC.
“Forgotten” comes from producer Jerry Bruckheimer, and, if Christian Slater’s negotiations go through, will star Slater as a former cop whose 11-year-old daughter was kidnapped. ->

It’s time for Desperate Housewives to shake things up a bit with a new cast member… Drea de Matteo will be joining season six, taking on the vixen role now that Nicollette Sheridan’s Edie is dead and gone.
Drea de Matteo will play a new housewife on Wisteria Lane, with a hubby and a son… and no doubt some kind of dramatic secret.

If the scoop over at EW.com is correct, T.R. Knight is officially off of Grey’s Anatomy. Michael Ausiello reports that a sources close to Grey’s confirm that T.R. Knight has been released from his contract.
The news of T.R. Knight leaving the series apparently came as other castmembers were receiving their formal pickup letters from ABC.
Looks like this ends of the mystery of whether or not George is dead after the Grey’s Anatomy season finale.
Or is the mystery solved? Some fans speculate that George may return but with a new face (and new actor) - since he was left unidentifiable in the last episode, perhaps a little plastic surgery could keep the character alive?
