We also learn that now passengers on the flight are reporting Steven Slater’s behavior as being odd, saying he stopped serving them and was rude. Everyone on board got a $100 voucher from JetBlue.

His ex-wife also speaks about his character, saying Steven Slater is a gentleman and doesn’t believe he was rude to anyone.

JetBlue flight attendant Steven Slater apparently had it with his career in the service industry. In this Today show video clip, watch for more details about Steven Slater, the Jet Blue flight attendant who got in a fight with a passenger and then exited the flight down the emergency slide/chute.

Before his dramatic exit, Steven Slater first took to the PA system and said “To the passenger who just called me a motherfucker, fuck you. I’ve been in this business 28 years, and I’ve had it.”

Flight attendants take a lot of abuse, and as a result of Steven Slater’s actions, he’s had a lot of support online on Twitter and Facebook.
